For your consideration a rare piece of Australian maritime history; this silver eight reale is from the Dutch VOC ship Vergulde Draeck also known as the gilt dragon, which sunk of the coast of Western Australia near Ledge Point april 1656.
Measures 37mm diameter / 26.88 grams.
Dated 1650 Mexico mint.
Comes with a certificate from the Western Australia Museum.

A very nice nearly EF grade Greek Seleucid kingdom silver tetradrachm of Philip Philadelphus circa 95-76 BC. Rev: Zeus enthroned holding Nike in outstretched left hand, the right arm supporting scepter.
