A very rare Roman iron ring pommel Gladius, the ring pommel gladius was widely used accross Europe during 2nd century AD.
The sword measures 620mm, professionally conserved and in stable condition with no restoration or repairs.
Very few Roman Gladius swords appear on the market, and those that do are often fragmental or longer Germanic ring pommel swords. This Gladius is genuine Roman.
