A beautiful, rare Xenon ware ribbed pottery skyphos decorated with painted laurel wreath and bird. Re-joined from four original large fragments. A very small amount of fill has been added to the rim, guaranteed authentic. Dating to circa 400 BC, Magna Gracia. Measures 185mm handle to handle / 120mm height. Ex-private West Australian collection. |
