A superb large green glazed faience amulet of Nefertum, wearing kilt and lotus headdress. Depicted with right leg forward in stride, which is broken slightly above the knee, the left leg broken at ankle, otherwise intact. Dating to the 26th dynasty circa 664-525 BC. Measures 10.7cm height / 15cm including wood display block. Ex-private UK collection. |
