Ancient Indus Valley rare pottery turtle vessel
A rare Indus Valley pottery vessel in the form of a turtle. The spout forming the head, two lobes either side for suspension representing front legs. Tail missing broken and lost in antiquity.

Dating to the Nindowari period circa 2300-2000 BC.

Measures 17cm height / 19cm inc stand. Comes with acrylic display stand.

Ex-private West Australian collection.
