Ancient Warring states rare iron sword and scabbard
A rare iron sword (Jian) from the Warring States period of ancient China. The blade has remnants of its original wooden scabbard fused in with the iron. The silver cast hilt intact with nice patina and pommel(now missing) possibly also silver. The sword has been professionally stabilized and sealed using a special wax to seal from elements. Comes with featured display stand.

Dating to the Warring States period of China circa 475-221 BC.

Measures 86cm length / 98cm height on stand.

Ex-private West Australian collection.
