A large rare Roman footed light green glass vase with elongated neck, pear shaped body and out flared rim. Very elegant piece with outstanding patina and some iridescence. Has had small museum repair to mid section, where approx six fragments fingernail size have been reattached, all original fragments, very hard to see repair. The neck and the foot are all intact with no restoration or repair. Overall in beautiful condition. Dating to circa 3rd-4th century AD. Measures 34.4cm height / 36.4cm on display stand. CF.
